WP-Forum version 1.4 released

Finally I made som time to update and fix some bugs in this much used plugin. Thanks for your patience.
New features:

  • Sticky threads.
  • New design.
  • Better profile views.

Next version:

  • Show new posts since last visit
  • Sending secure email to user
  • Sticky threads
  • Better post formatting
  • Adding moderators by user level

    After I updated the forum files my forum is gone!
    Is there any way I can fix it??

    Awesome! I would still love to see line 341 modified to read:

    return $wpdb->get_var("SELECT ID FROM $tableposts WHERE post_content LIKE '%'");

    That is unless you don’t want your plugin to work with other plugins that use pages ;)

    We’ve also managed to hack a version and get it working in the admin section of wordpress – it would be cool if this were an option :)

    2 questions.

    1. is normal istall of this looks so great like your forum, i mean that columns and stuff like that, the look

    2. is this will work on old version of forum after upgrade

    thanks for the update! I’m going to try to update it at the later evening today, hope it’ll work.

    But still: mod_rewrite support would be awesome. Think about it. :-)

    Alphawolf: Yes mod_rewtite would be the next major consideration, but it’s also major work.
