WP-Forum version 1.7.3

At last. WP-Forum version is now 1.7.3. It took some time but I tried to eliminate many of the bugs reported in the support forum. Some new features:

  • Spam words filter option. (Optional)
  • PHP 4 compability.
  • Moderator can be set individually for every forum.
  • Supports BBCode. (Optional)
  • A new skin.
  • Misc. bug fixes.

And as always when installing a new version deactivate and re-acivate the plugin in the WordPress admin area.

The spam filter option gets the spam words from WordPress’s own spam filter and words can be added in the WordPress admin -> option -> disscussion.

    Any significant changes to the skin structure? Just wondering if I will need to redo my custom skin…

    This version of the forum is very nice, a lot of nice new features.

    It nice to have the order option, BB code, and the option to move topics.

    This is an awesome release, I had some minor problems but it was mainly because of my own fault when creating the Link page to the forum, I would recommend this to anyone who uses WordPress and wants to have a forum.

    I need assistance

    I activated plugin in wp2.6
    I can view the forum, add a group, but not a topic or a post

    and i desperately need to get the forum working in the blog
