I did, still nothing. I hit add group, Test in the name field, no password and Save. It says Group added successfully but doesn’t display in the list below. I have Settings, Structure, Skins and Moderators as sub categories. Is that all that should be shown? I see in version 2 you have more menus. Thanks for your help
Hey, I’m also having the same problem, seems there are a few people mentioning it on the comments page of the plugin homepage. Every time I add a group or moderator it says it’s been successful, but i doesn’t show up, an he forum doesn’t work. I wonder if it’s something to do with the latest WP 2.6.2?
any ideas on how to fix this? otherwise I wait patiently for 2.0!
Rick are you running WordPress with a hosting company such as NetSol or Host Gator or are you running your own server? This plugin worked fine with my Host Gator account but not with my work’s servers. We’re checking permissions, installation problems…

When do you think this will be ready to dowload? Also I cannot get groups to be added with wp-forums 1.7.8. Any help with that?

I’m working as fast as I can, but expect at least a couple of more weeks before all the testing is done. I’ll check up on the group add stuff.

Yeah, there is more menus in version 2, I’m not sure what’s causing your problem. If you like you can try 1.8 beta version and see if that helps.
