Maintanance release.

At last. WP-Forum version is now 1.7.3. It took some time but I tried to eliminate many of the bugs reported in the support forum. Some new features:

• Spam words filter option. (Optional)
• PHP 4 compability.
• Moderator can be set individually for every forum.
• Supports BBCode. (Optional)
• A new skin.
• Misc. bug fixes.

And as always when installing a new version deactivate and re-acivate the plugin in the WordPress admin area.

The spam filter option gets the spam words from WordPress’s own spam filter and words can be added in the WordPress admin -> option -> disscussion.

My work load has increase quite a lot lately and I have not much time for anwering all the support forum questions. No I now many of you out there are very familiar with WordPress, PHP and my plugins. So I would really like some help in moderation of the forum.

Many of you are well suited for answering some of the support questions and now I really need your help. If the work load decreases on the support issue I may have more time to develop the plugins and fix bugs.

Current moderators are me and Ghidra99.

Much new in this release, including skin support and email subcriptions for threads. Skins are changeable from the Wp admin interface. Better profile view and easy to install new skins.

Since the new design of the forum plugin I have gotten many complaints regarding recognition. So I made a new design looking more like PHPBB so people get a feel of recognition. The result can be seen on my support forum.

Moreover, the feeds are fixed and is working.

Next version

• Support for skins and will be changable from the admon interface. The current design will be default and the previous design will be included as well.
• Show latest activity in the sidebar.
• Ability to subcribe to threads via email.
