Hi !
I have now tested it and it seems that when you create a new Group, nothing happens. Also the password option does not work, anynomous can still see the forums created.
BTW:
Same problems in version: 1.7.8

In agreement with Peter with v1.7.8.
Also, Fredrik, your own forum seems to have no posts ( afew seconds before posting this).
