I have come so far that I decided to run a beta version of WP Forum on this site

    Hi Can’t seem to find any reading bugs but ntoices that when viewing the home page for a forum (e.g. Bugs at http://www.fahlstad.se/wp-forum/?wpforumaction=viewforum&f=10.0) it would be good to display the category in the title var (in this case WP-FORUM) just before the forum name,

    and the same when viewing a topic (e.g. http://www.fahlstad.se/wp-forum/?wpforumaction=viewtopic&t=720.0) just before the topic and would it not be better to replace the actual word TOPIC with the name of the forum?

    I’ll try some posting tests later.

    Good work – any news on the release of the version 2 code so that we can test it on our own sites?

    Thanks for the feedback. Yeah it seems to be a good idea to add the whole trail in the title bar. I cant say an exact date for release but expect it within a week or so.

    It would also be able to switch on/off some or all parts of the trail apart from the last item in the trail which is what makes the page title unique.

    A Setting of the separator (raquo, bullet, etc) would also be good.

    All your forum naviagtion and management links seem to have disappeared, so I can’t Post anything or do much apart from read.

    I’m sure you’re working on it and that’s why they don’t appear. Just letting you know.

    Hi Fredrick,

    Just tried contacting you to let you know what your porfolio isn’t working (PHP error) but the contact forim seems to be sending an email to ‘fredrik@fahlstad.sel’

    I think you have a additional l characters as the ned of the email. If you’re email is quite then that’s probably why.

    Here the error I get back in a return message.

    Failed to deliver to ‘fredrik@fahlstad.sel’
    SMTP module(domain fahlstad.sel) reports:
    host name is unknown

    Ah, thanks bharat chaned the email.

    Hm.. all links disappeared you say, that’s weird they are there when I look, both as admin and regular user.

    Were you logged in when you experienced this?

    I just had another look and I see you have chnaged the text links for “HOME, MY PROFILE, SEARCH” and “POST REPLY, FEED” to more graphicy looking links.

    To be honest I preferred the old text links – they were much more clear.

    Any chance that we ould select whether to have just text links or your graphical versions from the WP-FROUM admin?

    Fredrik,

    Can we please have a feature so that individual users can not have a link to their profile (apart from their own My Profile link to manage their own profile).

    I ask becuase I am developing an E-Learning Forum where people would like to remain anonymous and do not wnat their profile information displayed.

    I’m sure other forum installations would find this useful.

    Another feature request Fredrik.

    I’m using v1.7.8 and I see that there is “My subscriptions” section in “My Profile”. I assume that this was to get emails when other users replied to “my forum messages” but I can’t see where to set this.

    If this is in already please can you point me ot it, if not then it would be good for users to subscribe to forums topics to get replies when OTHER users post a reply to that topic.

    Nah, I havent done the email subscriptions yet.

    I’m not sure how to do the SEO stuff, I guess i need to read up on Apache rewrite rules :)

    Let me think about how to do the SEO friendly URLs, but first please let me if your qusries will be using modwrite at all or not.

    on v1.7.8 I found the “Email Feed” link and used it – I’ll wait for a new post to see if I get an email. However when I tried to “Unsubscribe” from it, I got a Javascript error.
